Housekeeping and exterior cleaning in Oregon

Clean-Able helps homeowners and property managers find cleaning for the inside and outside of their properties. Choose what needs cleaning, answer the questions for that service, and see quotes from up to three local companies that do the work, cover your address and have current insurance on file.

What’s included depends on the service and the company. Read each quote’s list of what’s included before you choose a company and pick a time.

What needs cleaning?

House cleaning

Homes

Kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and floors. The price comes from the size of your home and how much cleaning it needs: a polish, a typical clean, a family home or a deep clean.

Book one visit, or every week, every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks. Inside appliances, inside cabinets, laundry and organizing aren’t assumed; check the company’s list of what’s included.

Turnover cleaning

Multifamily

For property managers: a vacant unit cleaned to a move-in standard. Tell us the unit size and how many units.

Billed by the hour for the time spent, at the company’s own rate.

Gutter cleaning

Homes and multifamily

Gutters cleared and downspouts checked. Tell us the stories, gutter guards and trees, and whether the crew should haul the debris away or leave it in your yard-debris bin.

For apartments and communities, the questions cover buildings, units, garages and roof pitch.

Pressure washing

Homes and multifamily

House exteriors (house washing), walkways and breezeways, driveways and parking areas, patios and pool decks, trash enclosures and fencing.

Choose the surface, its rough size and the number of stories. The method depends on the surface and the company; each quote shows its scope.

Window cleaning

Homes and multifamily

Windows washed outside, or inside and out. Tell us about how many windows and how many stories.

Screens, tracks and hard-water stains vary by company; check what’s included on each quote.

Roof moss removal

Homes and multifamily

Moss brushed off the roof and the debris cleared. Priced from the roof’s size and pitch, the stories and how much moss there is.

This is moss removal, not roof repair.

Dryer vent cleaning

Homes and multifamily

Lint cleared from the dryer to the outside vent. Priced by the number of vents, the stories and where the vents exit (roof vents cost more).

This is vent cleaning, not dryer repair.

Solar panel cleaning

Homes

Pollen, dust and grime washed off the panels, for homes. Priced by the number of panels and the stories.

Clean-Able doesn’t promise any change in the panels’ output.

From to-do to done

  1. Tell us what needs cleaning.

Choose the service and answer the questions for your property. Rough numbers are fine, and you don’t need to give a name or phone number to see prices.

  2. Compare available options.

See quotes from up to three local companies, with the price, what’s included, ratings and their next open times. Sometimes fewer companies are available for an address or service.

  3. Choose your company and pick a time.

Pick one of their open times or suggest dates. The company confirms with you within one business day.

Housekeeping for a cleaner living space

Start with your home: the size, the bedrooms and bathrooms, and how much cleaning it needs, from a polish to a deep clean. Pets and kids count too. Each visit has a fixed price and a set time for each room, worked out from the company’s own rates.

Before booking, read the company’s list of what’s included. Inside appliances, inside cabinets, laundry or organizing shouldn’t be assumed unless the quote says so. Choose one visit, or repeat visits every week, every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks.

Exterior cleaning for the work outside

Different parts of a property need different cleaning. Choose the service or surface, then answer the questions that matter for it: size, stories, roof pitch, how much moss, how many windows, vents or panels.

Each quote lists what’s included. If the company finds the property differs from what you described, they tell you before starting, and you can agree to a new price or decline. See gutter cleaning, pressure washing, window cleaning and roof moss removal.

Cleaning for homes and multifamily properties

Homeowners

Choose Home, pick the service and tell us about the house. You’ll see each available company’s price for your home, and you choose one. Request each service on its own; the companies can be different.

Property managers

Choose Multifamily for apartments, HOAs and managed communities. You’ll give the property name and whether it’s rental apartments or an owners’ association; the questions cover buildings and units where the service needs them. Only companies with these documents verified and current can quote:

  • General liability of $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate
  • Commercial auto of $500,000
  • Workers’ comp, or an owner-operator declaration with no employees

You can request a company’s W-9 and insurance certificates from your quotes page, and pay by card, bank transfer or check. Start a multifamily request or read more for property managers.

What affects the cleaning price?

  • The service. Each one has its own questions and each company its own rates.
  • Size. Square feet, roof size, gutter length, or counts of windows, vents, panels or units.
  • Condition and scope. How much cleaning a home needs, how much moss, inside windows too.
  • Height and access. Stories, roof pitch, gutter guards, roof vents.
  • How often. House cleaning can repeat; other services are one job at a time.

Prices are quotes from each company’s rates, and they hold if the property matches what you told us. If you weren’t sure of a measurement, the company checks it on site and tells you about any change before starting. Turnover cleaning is billed by the hour.

Frequently asked questions

Does Clean-Able offer housekeeping?

Yes. For homes, choose House cleaning: one visit, or repeat visits every week, every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks. For apartments, property managers can request turnover cleaning of vacant units. Local companies do the cleaning; how many can quote depends on your address.

Can I request both interior and exterior cleaning?

Yes, as separate requests: each service gets its own questions and its own quotes, and the companies can be different. Start one, then come back for the next.

What is included in housekeeping?

Each visit covers the kitchen, living and dining areas, each bedroom, each bathroom, and floors, halls and stairs, with a set time for each room. The company’s own list of what’s included shows on its quote; read it before you book. Anything beyond the time for a room needs your approval first.

How are prices calculated?

From each company’s own rates and the answers you give about the property. House cleaning uses the size of the home, the bedrooms and bathrooms, how much cleaning it needs and pets or kids. Exterior work uses things like square footage, stories, roof pitch, window and panel counts, and access. Turnover cleaning is billed by the hour.

Are the displayed prices estimates or final quotes?

They’re quotes from each company’s rates, and they hold if the property matches what you told us. If you weren’t sure of a measurement, it may be an estimate the company checks on site. Hourly work is billed for the time spent.

Will several companies call me?

No. You don’t give a name or phone number to see prices. When you choose a company, your details go to Clean-Able and that company only, to confirm your date.

Who performs the cleaning?

The independent local company you choose, under its own insurance. Clean-Able finds the companies, checks their insurance documents, and runs the quotes, scheduling and payment.

Can I request cleaning for apartments or several buildings?

Yes. Switch to Multifamily, or start a multifamily request. You’ll give the property name and whether it’s rental apartments or an owners’ association, and the questions cover buildings and units where the service needs them. Only companies with multifamily-level insurance on file can quote. More on the property managers page.

Can I arrange recurring cleaning?

House cleaning can repeat every week, every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks. You can skip a visit, pause, change how often or cancel from your job page, with no fee to cancel. Other services are booked one job at a time.

What happens if the job differs from my description?

The company tells you before starting. You can agree to the revised price, or decline and there’s no charge.

Who do I pay, and how do cancellations work?

You pay the company you chose; Clean-Able doesn’t add a charge to you. Homeowners save a card that’s charged when the work is done, and bank transfer is available with companies that have it set up. Property managers can also pay by check. Rescheduling and cancelling a one-time job are arranged with the company; tell us at hello@clean-able.com if you can’t reach them. See the terms.
